Unit 5: Audience And Impact: Who Is The Audience? What Impact Does The Text Have On The Audience?

In this unit, we have focusing on established the audience and calculate the effect a text have. We also have focusing on the intended audience and the impact of the text on the audience.

The reading “Out of puff” focusing on about smoking. It actually relates the loss of weight with the habit of smoking. After examine the articles, we have understand more on the topic especially it focusing on to all elements we have learnt about portfolio. And so, by the end of this topic we actually have been exposed fully with the criteria on how to write the portfolio.

For class presentation, this unit has been presented by Nadya Mansor, Farah Aida and Shahida Suhana. It started to be blurry for me, but by the end of the presentation, I got the idea of this unit. They present it clearly about the audience and the impact. They seem well prepared and also provide an example in the form of an article to make us more understand with what they are presenting.
